Escape the valley and head up to Anthony Lake Campground. Located at 7,000 feet above sea level, the Anthony Lake Campground is nestled against the sub alpine lake. Fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, swimming and wildlife viewing are abundant. Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov.

Anthony Lake Day- Use Area and Boat Launch
Located on the Eastern edge of Anthony Lake, is a single lane, concrete boat ramp. Anthony Lake has fantastic fly and lure fishing and is open to canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, float tubes, and electric motor boats.
Nearby day use and picnic areas offer fantastic views of the picturesque peaks.
Mud Lake Campground
Don’t let the name fool you. Mud Lake (often dried up in the later summer months), offers a beautiful setting for small to mid-sized trailers and tent camping. Six of the seven sites are reserveable. One site is available first come first serve.
Located right on the Elkhorn Scenic Byway, there is plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, fishing and more.

Located just off the Elkhorn Scenic Byway is the Grande Ronde Campground. Offering 8 sites (3 of which are accessible) for trailers and tents, the Grande Ronde Campground is a great little getaway. This campground is tucked away, out of site, yet boasts great views of the lake and surrounding area.
